My name is Lauren Irving and the reason I did a comic was because David asked me to do a guest comic while he is away somewhere ... who knows, I did it though, and there it is. It's quite pish I must say so I apologise for the crap comic folks but I only had two days to think something up!! Curse it! Anyhoo, before I explain the comic I just wanna say this: THIS IN NO WAY IS MEANT TO OFFEND ZARIA OR ANYBODY ELSE!! I love Zaria, you all know this and I am very sorry if this does offend Zaria or somebody but it wasn't and isn't intended it was just that I couldn't think of anything else to do but this so please don't beat the shit out of me. Yes, the comic. Basically, the chick in red is me and the other chick is well, Zaria. I get frustrated when playing an important part in a game, especially when somebody comes over and tells you their life story at 1 in the morning ( and yes, I wear my sunglasses at night ). Well anyway, she blows my concentration and I die and she annoys me further more by saying "It's only a game." THIS MAY BE TRUE but never EVER say that to a gamer who has just spent most of their time getting to a certain part then getting killed because of somebody else screaming in their ear. So yeah, I go mental and attack her ( in reality I don't have Wakizashi's, but I'd love two on my wall for show ^^ ). Oh yeah, to actually understand my comic, you will need to know and understand Zaria. I have to say however, after doing this comic, I respect all those people out there, like the folks who do Applegeeks and Megatokyo and even David here, a whole lot more than I used to because I now know how frustrating it can be to create a comic and how hard it is to come up with an idea before a ceratin time and work to a deadline. It was hard doing that comic, even if it is quite shit, but to be honest, am very VERY happy with it and I just hope that you folks out there like it, not necessarily for IT but for the work I put into it because that is why I like it ^^ I think I will move off the subject of my comic and comics in general and move on to talking about some random shit heh. Hmm ... where to start. Ahh yes, how about good old work eh folks? I work in Newhouse, it is shit. I am very pissed off with my work at the moment because they still haven't paid me for my first three shifts that I did back in May and I have been pestering them non-stop about it for ages and I still lack about £60 >< not happy at all. Another thing about my work, I am called a runner, make my job sound like a Final Fantasy job, Lauren the Runner 0.o And my boss Ally is an arsehole! He expects things to be done his way, just becasue somebody who's 6ft tall and has big long monkey arms and can carry 6 plates up his arm he thinks I can aswell. I AM SHORT! WITH LITTLE ARMS!! HAHA! Silly. That is my rant over with for today, I should move onto something much more fun ^^ THE WEATHER IS SO FUCKING AMAZING OVER HERE IN SCOTLAND! I went outside today and died with the heat, it was great, although I don't like dying much, but yeah, awesome weather. I however, deliberately tried to stay out of it because I had this comic to do and because it would cause my hayfever to act up again and also because I'd die again if I stayed out for long heh-heh! However, despite the fact of dying, I hope the weather stays this good for the rest of the summer especially when I go to Haggerston Castle in August! Looking so forward to it! It shall be amazing. My friend Anne is coming with me and we are just going to constantly party and play in the arcade ( well, I know that's where I will be, playing all the shooting games!! ). Speaking of arcades, in Scarborough there is an arcade which has 3 floors to it and has dodgems in it! DODGEMS IN ANARCADE!! It is the best arcade ever and me and Anne are gonna go there for an entire day! WOO! I shall take a picture of it with my new sexy phone and show you all ^^ I got my new phone for £30!AMAZING! It totally rocks! Heh-heh. In the world of gaming, the latest game I purchased was Tekken 5 and to be honest am already bored of it because I have nobody to play it with v.v It sucks, but my friend kirsty came down the other day and we had a good old fashioned tournament. Ahh, the gold old days, except there was only two of us instead of twenty 0.o Anyhoo, she gave me a loan of one of her dance games ( the dance machine rocks ass folks ) and it was one from the arcade. I was really happy so I have been playing that. OHH! When kirsty came up she brought her dance mat up so we had a dance battle but THEN we decided to put Tekken 5 on but use the dance mats as the controllers! THIS IS SO GOD DAMN FUCKING FUNNY!! When you all come back you need to get a shot of this, it's fucking great! We were just going totally crazy trying to do all the combo attacks. Imagine playing a racing game with the dance mat 0.o IMAGINE PLAYING TONY HAWKS WITH IT! MAN THAT'D BE NUTS! Well, anyhoo, it was good fun. What else is going on in my fantastic world of gaming? Ohh yeah ... I WANT FFXI! It isn't fair that I have the shittest computer in the world v.v Everywhere I go I see it. Everywhere I go I hear it. Well, I hear people talking about it HAHA! Am not THAT pyscho! Well ... maybe ... heh. New movies that are coming out or came out and that I must go see. LOTS! I am very excited about The Fantastic Four and would love to go see it very soon. Other movies that I want to go see include; Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; Madagascar; War of the Worlds and more. I can't remember the others to be honest, my head is a bit messed the now haha! Speaking of War of the Worlds, I saw the original not long ago. It was made in 1953. The only thing I can say about it is that it was interesting. I can't really describe how I felt becasue it was well done for 1953 but you really did just have to laugh at some of it. For instance: there was a part where the floating robot/alien was next to the house but they placed one of it's wings behind a tree that was very far away in the distance!! I just burst out laughing! But it is a good film despite the sillyness. Heh. There has been quite a lot of things going on in my life at this moment. It is quite scary actually. For instance, I have been hanging out with my friends a lot more than I usually do at the summer holidays, I usually sit in and scribble ( because am sad ). Work aswell. Getting loads of money though. Also, lots of upcoming gigs. There are two that I am particularly looking forward to and that I will most definently be going to. One of them is The Offspring gig in the SECC on the 12th of September and the other one is the International Taste of Chaos Tour also in the SECC but on the 9th of November. I found out about the I.T.O.C. Tour when I was checking out the Rise Against website ( a fucking awesome band that you must check out ^^ ) hoping to find them playing in Scotland soon and with my luck they are! They are one of the many bands in the Tour. The other bands that I know are Funeral for a Friend, The Used, Glassjaw and Killswitch Engage. I like all of those bands so I am totally going! And anybody else who wants to go must for it shall rock immensely. I am also going to see Alexisonfire who are playing at King Tuts ( I can't remember when they are playing ) and am going with my friend Kirsty. It shall rock too ^^ Well, lately, I have been doing some thinking because I was sitting watching the tele thinking "I want a KP Roasted Peanut" but not a packet, just one. Then it struck me: How much does one KP Roasted Peanut cost? You know, they don't sell them individually, only in packets and always in packets and the only time you can get them individually is if they are in an unclean sticky bowl at a pub where people just stick their fingers in, fingers that probably have not been cleaned after a visit to the toilet >< It really is disgusting, peanuts just sitting there, open to the fucked up people of this world who choose not to wash after going to the toilet. Well, anyway, it sucks! I wanted one and I couldn't get one. I mean, think about it, you want one KP Roasted Peanut and you walk into the shop looking for them and a whole packet costs like 59p! 59p!! YOU ONLY WANT ONE!! And then you get frustrated because you can't get a peanut AND NOBODY UNDERSTANDS YOUR PAIN because they aren't in desperate need for a KP Roasted Peanut like you are. So, I would really appreciate it if they sold them individually, because there would be much more happier people in the world and more laughter! And laughter makes the world go round! It is also the best medicine, unless your asthamtic, then it's ventolin. Well, with that I feel the need to end my blog, since I noticed it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to long heh. However, before I go, I would like to say sorry to Zaria if it offends her and sorry to anybody it offends. I would also like to say sorry for the comic in general, it is rubbish. I would finally like to say thank you to David for asking me to do a guest comic, it made me feel happy that somebody actually wanted me to do something for them that requires my artistic-ness other than making me work for buttons.
