First off: I'm sure you're all wondering WTF am I
listening to. Well the squirrels won't but most off
you will. Its a podcast I just subscribed to, done
by Mark Hoppus (Bassist from Blink 182 silly). Its
only just started so i dunno what to tell you about
it. Check it out if you can. And, i'm telling you;
Plus-44 better be good after the cheesy shit he spouted
about how much its going to change the world of music
lol ^^. They already changed my opinion of music and
are my inspiration for everything i play, so fingers
crossed they keep with the trend. Tom's up to something
too so look out for it. I hope its better than American
analoge set Mark ¬¬
With regards to my playing, and squirrely things generally,
I would like to update you with how were doing.
- Paul is back! As you all know, but unless you seen us at
M&D's, you probably don't know that he's here with amazing
vigor. We rocked the house on Tuesday and were then asked
to come back on thursday for round 2. We rocked that night
too, and now we're into the last stage, and it would seem
we're a hit with the crew. I'm thinking we might just
have to ask for a November 5th gig. Guy fox night, for all
you Non-UK citizens. Anyway, the next gig is on the 29th
of September, and I'll update you all about the details
soon. (Age restrictions etc.) It will be the best time to
see the squirrels, i can Guarantee it.
- Also, we're getting demo#3 finished today, so we'll be
sorting out a set of Demo's (3 CD's) to be sold here
and on chargrilledsquirrels.com. I don't really know
when 'cause I just decided we were about 3 seconds ago.
- Along with the CD's i'm sure we'll be doing Shirts too.
One thing i would like to mention, is the Little side
project I have going with my little Sister, Arianna. Its
going to be up on the Merch page this weekend/ next week,
so look out.
- I'll be updating the wallpaper, band and character page for
Monday too.
On a completly unrelated note; I just had a convo with Gibs
on Msn about the new Nintendo Revolution controller. Check it
out and give me your opinion.

BOOYA! Fuck yeah!.... and a string of other, over
enthusiastic comments involving joy and confidence.
Yes peeps; I got the call. The call I've been waiting
for, for the past 2 weeks. The call regarding the
position I interviewed for at the start of the month.
Did I get it? If you need to ask that, get the fuck
right out of town, you crazy mental case. I am so chuffed.
I woke up this morning tired and in no mood for they day
ahead. I worked 4 hours and as I walked out of the place,
I had my usual feeling of joy; only this one was different.
I hadn't heard anything by this point, so it was just
brought about by the nice day, lack of work to do, and
the fact that we got through the Battle of the band we were
in. OH! Yeah, by the way. We played at M&D's, we rocked
and we're into the next stage. The practice session we
had the week before made a million % differnce.
But anyway..... I was happy. I went home, went to sleep
for an hour, and got up to hear my phone 30 minutes after.
I've been in a state of shock ever since. I've been working
on the job circuit for a year, applying for jobs all over
and the only feedback i've had is:
"Dear David
Thank you for taking the time to prepare and send your CV
to us regarding the above.
While your background and experience are very interesting,
I regret to inform you that we will not be progressing
your application any further. The response to our advertising
was overwhelming and we have decided to progress
those candidate whose skills and experience most closely match

It may sound melodramatic, but having recieved 243 emails
(yes! 243!) saying the above, really kills your spirit.
However, in true David Law BSc. style I kept rolling with
the punches and now I'm going to be employed with one of the
most exciting I.T. companies in the world. Man! I'm top of
the fucking world today!
Sturyko's at Lvl 28 too ^^ My bonus has just been sorted from
way back in June, the squirrels are sounding great, Lu fucking
rox! I mean, damn people...... this is what its all about.
